A law written in the time before common sense stated;
"No one shall drive a vehicle across tower bridge, carting sheep, that has a beard"
This apparently is still engraved in the statute books.....! TRUE!!!

Sunday, 18 December 2005

When the sun goes down, the city energises. Docklands at dusk.

Saturday, 17 December 2005

The Greenwich Tunnel stairwell leading under the River Thames to the north side. Oh, and a telephone box!

Friday, 16 December 2005

An evening ale in the balmy summer evening....ahhhhh!

Thursday, 15 December 2005

The 'new city', Docklands. Full of upmarket residential and commercial space, it's a growing public interpretation of what a modern London should be and feel like.

Wednesday, 14 December 2005

Not far from the Millenium Dome, the push eastward of the 'new city' emerges on a daily basis.

Tuesday, 13 December 2005

Inspired by a good friend (Jonathan), I thought I'd do a wee series of images. From the flood gates in Woolwich (above) to the Houses of Parliment at Westminter. I'm following the River Thames in the late evening, during summer.

Monday, 12 December 2005

An ant view of Piccadilly looking towards the aformentioned Circus in the very busy West End!

Following the London theme, a fast train drawing ever closer to the city as it threads it's way through the Eastern reaches of suburbia.

Saturday, 10 December 2005

Every 90 seconds, a massive and intensly noisy metalic structure cruises 100 feet above on route for Heathrow airport. Bringing yet more underburdened antipodean wanderers to the European gateway. Enjoy!!!

Friday, 9 December 2005

On the flip side, Winter holds something of a surprise in it's mighty grip. The wonderful and some what mesmerising aura of falling snow captivates like no other. This goes out to all you souls in the Northern Hemisphere enjoying the fruits of the cooler of seasons.

Thursday, 8 December 2005

Now for a change of scene, the London Eye. And apparently, this smoggy view is as good as it gets! Gotta love the city life huh?!

Wednesday, 7 December 2005

Well, it's been a hell of a week, and with that, the lack of inspiration has continued to rear it's ugly (some might say!) head. Nothing more than a well chilled Monteith's Summer Ale and a nostaligic look back at London and all her glory, will fill the void left by hard 'yakka'. Mornington Cresent, Northern Line, The Tube.

Tuesday, 6 December 2005

The grand Eiffel Tower by night. And there ends the short but most enjoyable (yes?!) tour of Paris. Maybe more in the future....

Due to a little laziness, a lack of inspiration and generaly being to busy to care, I've needed to resort to past photographs for pixelated excitment! This the Paris metro.

Thursday, 1 December 2005

Well it's been another busy day at the coalface. This image is from Jordan, on a bus journey from Amman through to Petra. Quite a surreal and eye opening experience.

A small teaser of what's in store for the first dip of the Summer season. Bring it on!

Tuesday, 29 November 2005

A small town in the north-east region of Greece, Alexandropolis is the gateway for travellers entering Turkey from the west.

Monday, 28 November 2005

BIG UPS (I mean HUGE) to the Kiwi's beating Australia in the tri nations rugby league clash 28 - 0. A feat that will be remebered for a long time. Also, the mighty All Blacks rounding off the Grand Slam tour with a victory over Scotland 28 - 10. Now all we need is the Black Caps to do well in the cricket.....!!! Go you good things.

Sunday, 27 November 2005

The morning after (all be it very early). A great night had by all, thanks to everyone for the superb atmosphere. Till next time.....

A perfect day for the youngsters to fang it out on the harbour in the Optimist class.

In preperation of the upcoming flat warming, the party utensils are being implemented and tested. The choice of the Kingsland generation.

Wednesday, 16 November 2005

This is one of the weirdest experiences I've come across. A driverless, completly automated train speeding through the Singapore terrafirma. Hope Windows doesn't crash!

Tuesday, 15 November 2005

Study days are over for another year. Admitedly, I've only had 9 in the last 9 weeks, but alas their over. Hellalujah and sniff!!

Monday, 14 November 2005

I'm currently fascinated with the changing moods of the sky tower and the departing sun, and how wickedly it changes within a few minutes....

Tuesday, 8 November 2005

I saw a great quote today:
"There's really no such thing as enemies, they're just some of your best friends who want to kill you"

A room with a view. Looking out at this constantly means only one thing. Time to get ZedFM back off the ground and into the air. Classic Hits here I come!!

Sunday, 6 November 2005

I dunno what's going on at the mo, but as soon as Guy Fauks comes around it decides to piss down! Maybe that's a good thing, since there was a record 500 phone calls to the 111 service!!!

Saturday, 5 November 2005

Well, after the transition of moving and settling in, here we are. The move has been fantastic, finally meeting the final flatmate, who moved in today, the environs are lokking very positive. Have tried a couple of the cafes down the road and made a couple of pitstops to the old faithful, The Kingslander. Lubbly jubbly!!!!

A rather memorable sunset at the northern tip of New Zealand, Spirits Bay.
