This is the Marae experience. 50 odd people sleeping in one room. Imagine the snoring chorus that bellows forth. It's actually bloody hilarious. Thanks muchly to the ko matua of the Taita Marae, for accomodating and feeding us. Your hospitality and patience was greatly appreciated. Kia ora.
It has been simply impossible to keep my posts daily, so I've biten the bullet and given up trying! However, this is the 9 car convoy as we head north to Taita Marae, 25k's north of Dargavile.
I'm trying to play catch up......time for a cold ale on the porch.....
