Well, who would have thought. After 20 overs each, the two teams would both end with 155 runs. That was the initial outcome of the 20/20 clash between New Zealand and the West Indies. WI should have taken it out, but NZ bought the batting assault under control to finish even. With a period of bewilderment within the sold out crowd, the deciding ruling became clear. One over each, two wickets, one bowler from each team. WI's Gayle made mince meat out of Vettori with three sixes, giving them a daunting 25 runs from the over. NZ's Oram made a galant attempt but were finally out done with the loss of both wickets, still needing 11 runs. A great spectacle with more to come with West Indies finishing their tour, England arriving in Feb and India in March!!! You'd better love cricket.
